Nick Purdie (born 1998, Baltimore, Maryland) is a creative director, published photographer, and multimedia graphic designer. His profound love for illustrating, photography, and storytelling has recognized him in the Baltimore Sun and Homie House Press. Currently pursuing his Masters of Fine Arts in photography at The Savannah School of Art & Design, Atlanta campus. The central theme in Purdie's work is resilience, paired with natural settings and raw emotions. Using photo as an artistic weapon reveals power truths and visibility to underrepresented narratives and communities. Reflecting on himself and others to create a culture that is supposed to let you see yourself in your work, the world, the universe. Driven by Identity, Spirituality, and Social awareness, Purdie's work focuses on vulnerability and consciousness set to gauge questions and offer solutions.
